When Caitlin reached out to me about capturing her wedding portraits at Brantwood Farms in Brantford, Ontario, I knew it was going to be a dreamy session. A Relaxed Summer Wedding Photoshoot at Brantwood Farms
Caitlin and Jake chose to do their wedding photoshoot at Brantwood Farms before their wedding reception. It was a hot summer day (and I mean really hot!), but these two were total champs. They embraced the heat, had fun with the process, and made the most of every moment.
For the first part of the shoot, it was just the three of us—wandering around the farm, chasing light, and capturing candid moments. Later, we were joined by their close family and wedding party for a few classic group photos.

The Big Oak Tree
This spot was a must for Caitlin and Jake. Tucked toward the back of the barn, the big oak tree felt like something out of a storybook. The light filtering through the leaves added a soft glow, even though we weren’t quite at golden hour yet.
The Orchard
The orchard was such a peaceful and romantic place for photos. Rows of trees, dappled light, and just the two of them sharing quiet moments—it felt effortlessly magical. It’s the kind of setting that makes you forget you’re in the middle of summer heat!
