When Chantel first messaged me on Facebook, it was the turning moment of my photography career. As you see, I had pushed my photography passion way to the side… like way way to side. All because life happened. Life meaning, I got bills to pay and more financial responsible that I had ever expected. As a result, I continued to find a very demanding 9-5 full time job, and my creativity and love for photography was taken a back seat. When Chantel had messaged me and asked me if I could photograph her wedding, it reminded me how much I miss photography.
Chantel wanted to do the engagement photo shoot during winter on a nice snowy day. At first, I got worried again, because if you read my Winter Engagement Photo Shoot vlog, it was windy, stormy, freezing cold and it wasn’t a very nice day to be outside taking cute engagement pictures. But luckily, the weather was very calm, and it wasn’t as bad as the first one.
During the shoot, I kept on checking with Chantel and Tyler if they are still doing ok, specially Chantel because she was wearing a dress, and Chantel was such a great sport and was willing to do more photos and wasn’t complaining about the cold at all which I am so happy about. We did the shoot at the University of Guelph and the arboretum where they are going to get married in the latter.
