My first wedding photography job in 2017! I was so excited to be back in the game after a year break. After photographing a few weddings in the past, I know what to expect and what is going to happen. During my first meeting with Ruthanne and David, they had a lot of questions and they were seeking advice as to what is going to happen during the wedding day. We sat down and I helped them planned some parts of the itinerary especially the photo taking part.
On the wedding day, I was quite happy that the weather was a bit cloudy and overcast. Perfect for me as I would prefer photographing in an overcast day than bright and sunny day. However, in the middle of the day, it started to pour and thunder also came. But that’s alright! people say it is a lucky day for the bride and groom if it rains on your wedding day. The only downside is we weren’t able to take some photos outdoors! So we all planned to schedule the bride and groom photo shoot later after the wedding day. This is usually common as some couple and photographers would prefer this to avoid adding more stress on the actual day and trying to fit everything in one day.
